Windows 10: Long term review.

Nearly 7 months on and Windows 10 has received awesome positive reviews. The last huge release for Microsoft from Windows, Windows 10 now runs in about 100 million PCs all over the world! It is still free for users of Windows 7 and 8. Microsoft has made it very simple for updating to Windows 10. The 'Get Windows 10' app will get you through the finish line if you give up some approximately 3 Gigs of your plan.
This post also includes on how to get Windows 10 if you didn't get the official app. This is officially from Microsoft, so breathe easy.

Windows 10: A reflection of Mobile OSs?

Apps. Notification center. Cortana. Windows 10 totally reflects how a mobile OS works without compromising on your desktop capabilities. Basically, Windows 10= Mobile + Desktop in terms of UI.

The UI Change.

The most noticeable improvement is the User Interface. Amazing. Smooth. Fast. Quality. Pure Microsoft. You'll love the new desktop and the start screen. It's your old computer totally revamped. Problems in Windows 8 are fixed here. Using it is hassle free. Task view is easy. Resizable start screen. Tiles are back. Task bar is cool. On the whole, the best desktop UI till date.
Whether you are coming from Windows 7 or 8, you will love this. Talking about Edge, Microsoft's new browser, personally I prefer Google Chrome. Better than Internet explorer though.
Animation effects are also visible. Total fun.

For games, you have Xbox. Cortana and search will improve your productivity.

App Store.

Applications and programs are gone. Forever. At lease sort of. Apps have made an entry into desktop. Just like your Phone, you have an App store and you have games and apps form the store, from Microsoft. All these add to the fun. The store too looks great. The quality of apps over number of apps. Good thing is that all your previous programs work as fine as they were. Indeed, they have become faster.
According to my task manager, my CPU works better with Windows 10. Memory (RAM) works great.

Speed improvements and BUG fixes.

During the time of the pre release, Microsoft said it has nearly 7000 bug fixes. All clear now. Visible problems in the OS have been rectified.
Computer boots faster than ever. Apps open and run faster.

On the whole, an awesome OS. Everyone will love it. Improves performance. Flaws are nearly extinct. All this for free is awesome. If you are still waiting, don't wait. Just get it.

HOW TO GET WINDOWS 10 if you didn't get the app. (Clean install)

Basically this step is how you can get an ISO of Windows 10. During the release, my Get Windows 10 app disappeared. In the Microsoft forum, I learnt that I could use the 'clean installation' method too. With this you can burn the OS to a CD or a Pen dr
ive. You can use it to upgrade to Windows 10. Please note that you need to check system requirements before you do this. This if from Microsoft officially.

Just follow the link :

https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10

It gives the Media creation tool which you need to get before Windows 10 which will download Windows 10 for you. Please read all the information in this link. It will help you. Don't download this before you read fully. Anything isn't sure and that's a disclaimer.

Thanks for reading! Happy Windows 10, and oh yeah, new year too!

Dream Android Phone: 2015 Version!

This Dream Phone concept is basically an imaginary version of how I'd want my smartphone to be, the things it must include and all those. Obviously I want it to run Android.
Note that all these are purely imaginary. This has nothing to with anyone externally.
So yeah! Just imagine that you are making your own smart phone. Forget the price. 2015 has bought us many things and we are incorporating everything into one awesome Phone.

THE BUILD
The build of your phone will determine how your phone feels in your hands and how easily you get access to buttons and every other aspect of the outer hardware part. I would like it to have a metal back case with a premium build quality. Thin bezels and an equally thin body would be perfect. Adding Gorilla Glass to the screen would be even perfect. That's all for the build.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The Most interesting parts is the specs. I will divide this into two aspects.

The Software part.
As I mentioned earlier, Android 6.0 Marshmallow will power the device. Pure Android is my favorite. But a light, user friendly and most importantly RAM friendly Android skin. Quicker updates will be a boon!

The Hardware Part.

150 g Body.
5.5" Screen. Edge Display on both sides of the screen. Retina Display with IPS technology. Or AMOLED isn't a problem. Supports 4K playback.
Finger Print sensor included in Home button.
Dual side firing speakers.
23 MP Front camera with ability to shoot 4K. 8 MP Front camera with awesome selfie features. Geo tagging feature included.
4 GB RAM + 128 GB Internal memory with expandable memory.
Single Nano Sim.
Lithium Polymer 2500 mAh Battery.
3.5 mm thin without including edge display.
Adreno 430 Graphics.
2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-Core processor.
Support A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0.

That's all for now. Obviously there will be improvements. Suggest yours. Thanks for reading.

iOS 9.2 full In-Depth Review!

New updates are always awesome and iOS 9.2 doesn't fail to satisfy expectations. It's smooth, fast as ever and less laggy. I have been testing the iOS 9.2 for about two days now. And before we go any further please note that I am coming from 8.4 so iOS 9 itself is quite new to me. So if I talk about things that were already there treat this as a basic iOS 9 Review.

A screen shot of the search page. Notice the clipboard on the left.
The first noticeable difference is the new search page that is added to your home page. The last time I personally saw this was in iOS 6. It was missing in iOS 8. Basically its a search bar for everything on your device and on the web. It also includes a bunch of apps under the title 'Siri Suggestions'. I don't find much use there unless you are bored. The pull down search from your app page isn't gone though.
Multitasking is easier than ever!

Coming to the biggest change since iOS 8 is multi tasking. Basically you can have two apps in the same page. Pulling the right side of your screen would give you a lost of apps which support multitasking and you can easily view another app on the side. This feature is quite convenient when you actually don't want to leave. Also videos can be played anywhere on the screen in a small space when you are doing something else. That's a plus.
The next one is the keyboard. There is a considerable change in the font and it feels different and nice to use. There's a clipboard on the left side, undo options and some editing options. On the whole it's a more stable and feature added keyboard which is pretty nice to type when you are working on a document or your normal stuff.
The notification bar is also different. The way it looks in landscape mode feels more organized. Widgets also look better.
The Notification center!

Photos also now better organization. There are new folders for screenshots, selfies etc.
Two new apps, Find iPhone and Find Friends were also automatically installed.
Something I find extremely better is that there's a lot of noticeable bug fixes. Really good ones. When I was using Facebook on Safari, and tapped on comments some how the keyboard comes up weirdly. I don't know exactly if it's a bug but it was troublesome. But it's perfect now. And when using settings, sometimes I got only half the screen. The other half was hidden. Now it's perfect.
I felt something Apple messed up is the Original wallpapers they had. They were pretty good but now they removed all of them and most are black ones. That's pretty bad. Probably I will search for good ones.

So yes, if you are using an older iOS version, there isn't any problem in iOS 9.2 and in fact it's awesome. Go ahead. Sometimes you will be in the Que for the update. Wait patiently. It's worth it.
According to Apple, they have added 3D Touch to iBooks, improved Apple Music and improved the Email services. Thanks for reading!

Is buying an iPad worth it? 2015 Version.

Some might argue that this topic is slightly out dated and all that. It's been discussed all over the internet. Yes that's OK! The iPad Pro is all new now but here I am not talking about that. I am talking about iPads in general.

Whether the iPad is worth it basically depends on what type of person you are. Which means what you are going to use your iPad for! The iPad obviously wont make you comfortable with everything you want to do.

THE AMAZING BUILD QUALITY

There is a specific aspect of the iPad which will make you feel too comfortable. It's awesome, mind blowing, premium, build quality. The well known premium Aluminium case which the iPad rests on with the glossy Apple logo and the 'iPad' embossment makes it really impossible to describe it in words. The way it feels in your hand, it's quality of build, strong but smooth case defines the iPad.

iOS and File Transfer

The area where you can find a lot of flaws is the OS. iOS, I feel is incomplete. I mean to say that iOS has only those two or three odd home pages with a bunch of apps. That's what it has totally. I am not going to start an Android vs iOS thingy here but iOS lacks UI features. Like if Apple added more stuff like widgets, more interactive things from the OS, it would have been better.
If you are getting an iPad you need to bear up with iOS. First, file transfer is extremely hectic. It would seem almost impossible with the amount of restrictions and hurdles you have to come across to transfer a simple 1 MB file. iTunes makes it even harder.

The Last straw

Added to all this you don't have expandable storage as well. So Apple pushes you to buy the 128 GB Model which will set you back by a fortune. You can get a SD card in about one fifth of it's price or much lesser only if there was the option.
Bluetooth is another story. Don't depend on it if you don't have another Apple Device. It's useless otherwise.

Browsing and apps: The brighter side

All these restrictions will make you feel that the iPad is meant only for browsing and enjoying it's quality apps in isolation from other devices. This is some what true.
But browsing on the iPad is like browsing on heaven. Inbuilt Safari is smooth and Apple's amazing chips will make your browsing experience as smooth as ever. Also there are ton of apps on the App store. Quality and Quantity guaranteed.

So if you have decided you are going to gift yourself a new tablet read up these before you make your choice.

Don't think before getting an iPad if:

You want an amazing experience using your tablet. A neat clean OS. High quality UI. Less customization. Great browsing experience. High Quality Apps. If you like flaunting too, get this. If you are an Avid reader and don't care about having to bear up with iTunes get this. If you aren't going to have much of file transfers and you are going to game a lot and watch videos the iPad is just perfect for you! Also if your other devices are from Apple, there won't be much problems.

Think twice before you get an iPad if:

You are a geek and want a better user friendly UI. More customization options. More memory. Also if you want more organisation of your files and do a lot of file transfer across your devices, the iPad might not suit you. If you own Windows, Android devices file transfer won't be a piece of cake. The Nexus 9 Might suit you.

Finally Thanks for reading. Hope you liked it.

Tech in 2015: Quick Overview!

We are nearly winding up with a very eventful year, 2015 in the tech sphere. Here will have a quick overview on all Tech that has come up this year concentrating on mobiles as we have done earlier.
Towards the end of this post, we will also have a look at the Operating systems out this year.

I want to start with One Plus. I have been seriously impressed with their devices especially the OnePlus X. Bringing such quality to the mid segment is the need of the hour and that's exactly what OnePlus has done this year. From being just another company to not being just another company, OnePlus has done a commendable job.

Coming to Samsung, after the experimental Note Edge's success, the Galaxy S6 Edge will hold a strong place in history for it's uniqueness. Ofcourse the double edged display on either sides of it's screen have been a sure eye catcher. Also Samsung enjoyed success in bringing the A series of phones. Not to forget the J line up and Samsung's own Tizen OS. Personally a Samsung user, one main concern was the keep up of speed. Samsung seems to have improved it this year. The much notable Galaxy A7 was an instant success.
To combat the mighty S6, Apple's iPhone 6S Plus with its blown up screen sizes with a relatively blown up price tag was unveiled. 3D touch which was earlier explained in this blog was a cool new feature that Apple added. Having said that, Apple has lived upto our expectations in bringing new features unlike a wide range of phones in the monotony of having the same technical specifications all over again.
Motorola had a pretty eventful year Moto X Play and Style. Lenevo's K3 Note caught eyes as well.

OPERATING SYSTEMS

Having a look at the Operating systems out this year we surely can't miss Windows 10. Though it is out only for Desktops for now 100 Million PCs now run Windows 10. The last major release from Microsoft has proved worthy because customers have enjoyed it. We were expecting the mobile version towards the end of they year. We can note that the Denim version which prepares your phone for Windows 10, was rolled out to Phones this year.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow which we discussed in detail earlier in a few posts was notable.
iOS 9 came this fall.
That's all. Thanks for reading.

Phones that are getting Android Marshmallow: Will your phone taste marshmallow?

Android Marshmallow will feature features like Doze( A new power management scheme), New App permissions and native Finger print scanner support.

To know more about Android M's features, visit Android M Features!

Everyone's so excited about Android Marshmallow. According to Android's official website, the latest OS will start rolling out by next week which means your phone might well go on to get it. Simultaneously there are a lot of speculations on which devices will get the update.

From Android.
Just because it is releasing, you wont get to have it the very next minute or even days. (Or even not)
To solve this mystery, here's a small list of phones that MAY get the update. Please note that some are just rumors and the truth is only when it actually comes to your Phone.

Nexus Devices
It's obvious that that the nexus devices will top the list. Google collaborates with a company like Huawei or Motorola or any other to make nexus devices. The recently unveiled Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X are among the first to get the OS. Other Nexus are also most likely to receive this update. If you've got a Nexus in your pocket, sit back and enjoy because Marshmallow will find it's way in. The developer previews were launched for certain Nexus Devices.

Android One Devices
Google's budget line up of phones also called Android One will also be among those to receive Android 6.0. Phones like the Micromax Canvas A1, Karbonn sparkle V, Spice Dream UNO are among the Android One devices.

HTC
HTC was the first(and is the only, till now) company to confirm the line up of devices that will get the update. Thanks to it's Twitter handle. Here's the list.

SAMSUNG
Samsung was earlier quite quick in bringing the Lollipop update to it's newer devices. Samsung has released a bunch of new sparkling devices in the meanwhile. Phones like the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge plus, the Note 5, Galaxy A8 will certainly get 6.0. It is still unclear if older devices like Alpha and Galaxy S5 may be favored.

Sony and LG will bring in Android 6.0 for it's later devices like Z4, Z3+, Z3 and G4, G3 respectively.

Since no company(other than HTC) has officially released a list, all we can do is only speculate. Newer devices and devices with a higher capability are the top ones. So, if you'd bought a newly launched phone you might be on top of the list to taste Marshmallow. Your availability will depend on your company and location. Sit tight and let Google do the rest. Tell us about your Marshmallow experience once you've got it. Thanks for reading. Keep reading because readers are winners!

Everything you need to know about the upcoming Android Marshmallow 6.0

Android 6.0 had three developer previews with the last on being on August!

Android M developer preview was first announced the Google I/O on May 28 2015. After 3 previews, the final version is expected to release in Q3, 2015. The predecessor was Android 5.0 Lollipop.

A Screenshot of the home page from Android M

FINGERPRINT

A major improvement in this version is the native support for fingerprint scanning. Just like it's previous versions, it concentrates on improving over user experience. Finger print capability will enhance Android App payments and Android Pay experience.

APP PERMISSIONS

Android Marshmallow introduces a redesigned application permission model: there are now only eight permission categories, and applications are no longer automatically granted all of their specified permissions at installation time. An opt-in system is now used, in which users are prompted to grant or deny individual permissions (such as the ability to access the camera or microphone) to an application when they are needed for the first time.

DOZE: NEW POWER MANAGEMENT

When the device's motion sensors detect that there is no activity from the user, a new power management scheme called DOZE will automatically reduce the background application activity. According to Google, this might well go on to double your battery life, which if was reality, would result in a pretty impressive battery life for your device.

Apple's 3D touch: Explained!

Everyone's really excited about Apple's iPhone 6S. It has got lots to offer with many improvements in hardware. Apple has put into their new iPhones a new technology called 3D touch.
3D touch is nothing but a new technology in which the iPhone undertakes special functions on how hard you press your phone. If you press your phone harder, it brings a set of cool and easy options which make using your iPhone hassle free and simpler than before.
3D touch works inside and outside apps. If you are on your home screen and you pres an App icon harder than usual it opens up a bunch of options which are associated with the app and lets you do more without actually going in.
Many apps also support this inside their UI. Most of Apple's apps support this and third party apps are starting to exploit the cool new feature.
If you ask if this is a boon or misfortune, many users currently feel that 3D touch helps them and that they are enjoying it.

Why the iPad Pro might become a hit!

Apple announced the iPad Pro, a beastly tablet (12.9", Yes you read it right!) just recently and it will be out by November. It sports a High resolution 2732 x 2048 Retina Display. That's not all what the iPad Pro is about. Interestingly it is just half a pound heavier than it's predecessor and it doesn't compromise on the 'thickness' factor as well. Along with it came the Apple Pencil( Not an ordinary pencil, it sets you back by $99) which is a stylus accompanying the beast.

The iPad Pro wins over others in many ways. One is its beastly size which will be extremely useful to people who work using an iPad and also travel a lot. People who don't actually mind shelling out a few extra bucks (The iPad Pro starts at $799 and goes on till $1079) will surely welcome the iPad Pro. But if you ask if it can well replace a laptop, it would be a pretty no. Maybe because its internals will surely be a setback and real people who actually want a lot of storage space may not prefer it.  It is supported by the Apple's A A9X processor with the usual 64 bit architecture which Apple claims to be 2.5 times faster CPU than the A7 processor and will have 5 times faster Graphics is a key factor. All its other internal are just the same as the other iPads.
IF you look at the iPad Pro as a reading device, it will have its Pros and Cons.
Reading maybe enjoyable due to its screen size but since its big, one hand reading may not be possible. People who work as engineers or anyone who wants to design may exploit Apple's awesome apps and iPad Pro offers an awesome display for that. Maybe on the next iPad Pro, Apple may concentrate on increase its technical specs to increase its productivity further. On the whole the huge display of the iPad Pro will surely make an impact. The iPad Pro also has an impact on other tablets with prices being slashed down. Thanks for reading and Keep reading because readers are winners. If you have any thoughts about this post or the iPad Pro, leave it right below in the comments section,

Microsoft may fix the 'App gap'! Android and iOS apps on Windows?

You didn't buy a Windows Phone because it didn't have as many apps as the Play Store from Android and App Store from iOS? The Windows platform, not being able to catch up with latest apps has been a major constraint for the OS right from the beginning! But Microsoft has got other ideas. Windows is considered a neat, clean and a nice OS offering a good tile UI to people has been praised for its stability and people have liked it. But one thing that STOPS people from buying WP is the lack of apps.

Not finding their favorite apps on the Windows Store was not surprising to most WP users. From many leaks about Windows 10, we have got information that Microsoft, in their annual BUILD conference will make a major breakthrough in removing this constraint. From this major news, we learn that developers will now be easily able to build apps they build for Android even for Windows too. This is possible by playing a little bit with Windows Dev and allowing coding languages like C++ and Java on Windows 10.Microsoft will most probably be announcing this at their BUILD conference. With this, Microsoft will be able to bring Apps all over to their system and also integrate them with services like Cortana and Xbox. This is a huge win for Windows users(like me) and fans! More up to date news on the BUILD conference is coming and if you ARE looking for a new phone... Keep calm and Wait for Windows 10. B|

Semiconductors: Basics you need to know!

Today at Tech reads, we will look at one important part of many devices we use! Of course you are reading this on a Computer and it is the the semiconductors which ultimately make this possible! We are not going much into real technical details but just the basics!

Definition
There are many substances and you can classify them into two types, Good conductors, which allow flow of electrons better then some others and there are Bad conductors which, as the name suggests, don't allow flow of electrons like other substances! So these semiconductors are substances which are in between these two types of substances. That is, they show properties of both! This is that one thing that makes it possible The development of these types of substances has made it possible to develop better micro processors and memory storage!

Interesting properties
Another way a semiconductor is different from a metal is that the electrical conductivity of it increases with increasing temperature. It has some properties such as passing current more easily in one direction than other, showing variable resistance! Of course there are many other properties too. They have a property of using them as a variable switch.

Life with out it!
Life without semiconductors would be much different rather much difficult. Behind the immense advancement of technology, these have played a great role. Transistor radios wouldn't be portable and calculator prices dropped from the price of Actual computers to what they are now because of semiconductors! Desktop computers, Tablets and a wide range of electronics use Semiconductors!

Making, history and examples.
They have been tested for over hundred years and they became more prominent as the need for Computers progressed. They are made using several processes such as Doping(adding of impurities to make them conduct). Semiconductors are found in two types- elemental and compounds. Although some pure elements and many compounds exhibit semiconductor properties, Silicon, Germanium and compounds of Gallium are most widely used in electronic devices!

What to expect: Galaxy S6

After all the S6 rumors, here are my thoughts upon what to expect from the Galaxy S6. According to some websites, the S6 may well reach us this March or Feb. With Samsung getting a lot of phones (A3, A5, A7, J1, Z1), we might well expect the S6 some time later. From it's predecessors, I have something to expect from this one. Let us look on what this is.
We will take a few aspects of the phone and discuss them in order.
(These are not any leaks but just some thoughts and expectations)

Body Design
Like all phones I would expect a single metal uni body structure and dread a plastic back. A tight and cool metal band will be awesome! Meanwhile, I would just want the speaker at the top because the bottom one kinda disturbs while holding it landscape.

Display
There aren't much problems with the previous Full HD AMOLED display at all and high resolution one is confirmed. We might expect a QHD maybe. But I just hope they don't blow the size too much that it turns into a Nexus 7 or something(7"). Though a bigger size may not always mean a bigger phone but if you see it's previous versions, they are keen on making it bigger. As far as the Bezels are concerned, they shouldn't make it zero which may result in increased damages. It will be awesome if they bring the Edge Display here too because it was awesome with the Note Edge. They might release another version of it, maybe!

Camera
This area has also not been of much problem in it's predecessors. A light camera with ability to record 4K videos(more then 8MP maybe) will be perfect. Increased MP might mean increased size of your pictures so they must take care to limit it too. The speed of taking pictures has also not been a big concern so far.

Internals
They might think to take on the Snaspdragon 801. RAM will be perfect between 3 gigs and 4 maybe. Whatever they bring in, they mustn't compromise on the Quality! The phone must be sturdy if it's too big.

Software
I got this weird idea that they might power the S6 with Tizen. But I guess it will be mostly Lollipop from Android. Hope they also don't compromise on Updates.
A pic found on the internet!

Xiaomi's Note and Note Pro are finally here!

Xiaomi has announced two new high end phones, the Note and its higher version, the Note Pro. These two are beasts according to their specs and are regarded like a more sleek iPhone 6. These phones present a very sleek and thin design.
Specifications
They both feature a 5.7" display. The Note has a 1080p display and its elder brother, the Pro version sports a 1440p. The screens both present a beautiful picture to the phone. These high end phones boost the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801. One major difference between the two is that the lower Note supports 3 gigs of RAM while the Pro supports 4 gigs. They both are powered by a 3000mAh battery that is sure to last quite long. As far as the camera department is concerned, a 13 MP rear camera is accompanied by a 4 MP front selfie camera.
Overall Good one.
The specs make the phone look extremely good. This phone might well on prove to be the company's best and important phone as its sales begin. Its been a rain of phones since this year started with some really good phones out now. Thanks for reading and keep reading cuz readers are winners.

Samsung launches Tizen OS phone!

Don't know what exactly this is... about releasing a new phone every month or so.... So yes the new phones from samsung will feature its own Os called Tizen. According to reports, a low end phone called the Z1 with a 4" screen, 1500mAh battery and 3 MP camera is one along with another phone called Z which will have a 4.8" Super Amoled display powered by a Quad core processor and relatively higher end specs. The Z1 might reportedly hit Indian shores to compete with other feature smart phones in the growing market.  Please note that they are accoring to some reports only. Tizen might be an interesting one in contrast to  Touchwiz, an android skin which is considered 'heavy'. These are the first informations we got and we might get further. Looks like there are gonna be another bunch os phones from Samsung in the near future. Thanks fir reading and keep reading cuz readers are winners

Samsung Unveils Galaxy A7: One of the slimmest galaxy phones ever!

Don't know why Samsung is moving up in odd numbers in the A series.(Just recently came the A3 and A5). So, yes that's true! This is a 5.5" phone with the usual AMOLED HD display with interesting specs!
Camera
The font one is a 13 MP camera and the front one comes with a 5 MP sensor. The front camera includes options like Ultra Wide shot mode and an Auto selfie mode as well! LED flash is also to be mentioned.

Processor
It comes equipped with a two separate Quad core processor system which is clocked at 1.3 Ghz. I guess that will be suitable for the specs of this phone!

OS, Display, Memory and Battery
Running, Android 5.0 this 5.5" HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels is supported with 2 gigs of RAM with 16 GB of Mass memory! The battery has a capacity of 2600 mAh.

Features
Said to be the slimmest in the Galaxy line of phones, this has a 6.3mm unibody build. From it's pictures, it has a nice body which is solid and sporty! The phone also offers a Private mode which adds extra security to this phone.

The Asus Zenfone Zoom: All you need to know.

The Asus Zenfone Zoom was announced at the Asus press conference at the CES 2015 in Las Vegas. As the name suggests, this phone has something big to offer in the zoom dept. We will have a good look on the phone first and check out the 'Zoom'.

Display

This one sports a 5.5" display which has around a density of 403 ppi which is quite good if you ask me.  It also has a 1080 x 1920 display. Supports Multi touch and 16M color depth display.

Camera

When I tell picture... I remember about the camera dept. The 13MP camera along with the 5MP secondary one come packed with really good image processors. With Dual color real tone flash, Optical image stabilization and an 88 degree viewing angle for the front camera, this phone has a really good camera department. This might come in real handy for mobile photographers. Let us see what more the camera has to offer from this phone!

The Zoom

The Zoom offers 3x 10 element along with awesome image stabilization. The focusing technology and improved aperture will boost your photo's quality as well. Asus also says the Focus quality will be better. Camera modes include Low light photography, HDR(high Dynamic Range) and Enhancing Mode.
According to Asus on it's web, 'ZenFone Zoom is engineered to embed 10-element lenses for 3X Optical Zoom while still keep the device as thin as 11.95mm. It's the world's thinnest 3X optical smartphone offering up to 12X zoom-in effect'.
That's exactly what the Zenfone 'Zoom' thing is about! Though it can Zoom upto 12x with 3x Optical Zoom, your phone won't get thicker which still makes it feel good in the hands!

Software
It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. This is going to be perfectly accompanied by it's Awesome hardware.

Phone Internals

With the 3000 mAh battery, it also sports the Intel Atom Z3580 chip set with a Quad core processor clocked at 2.3 Ghz. All these specs pose a very good picture.

Overall good phone with it's awesome camera sensors. It seems to be considerably thin though. One of the most awesome phones from Asus. Thanks for reading and Keep reading cuz readers are winners!

According to Gartner, growth in tab sales likely to be slow.

The growth will not be the same from the last four years, the company said. I find this new interesting because we have seen so many awesome tabs come up near the end of last year like the Nexus 9, iPad Air and the Nokia N1. Such news show that people might actually want another change in the tab market now. With phones nearly getting bigger, of course phones might take the upper hand there isn't any difference. The main reason why I think people buy tabs is for the big screen sizes they boast but the larger phone which mostly now have come into more that about 5" , will make tabs a thing to be thought upon for consumers! Another reason may be due the better quality of tabs in the higher end and I would say there aren't any charming ones in the lower range. People might question about what tabs offer more than phones and having a other device when you are travelling or something. We still don't know what's to come in this year cuz this year has barely started. Let us wait and watch and Keep reading cuz readers are of course, winners!

Brush through of tech news!

It isn't even the start of the year and its already off to some flying news up!

-> Samsung Beats Apple in the US satisfaction study in a survey conducted by the American Customer Satisfaction index(ACSI). I don't know but I guess the Note 4, Alpha had great impacts. the iPhone 6 was not all that bad but the survey says it all!

->Acer unveils new two Chromebook with one having a Full HD display and the other one having a lesser resolution. They sport an i3 intel processor as well!

-> As S6 rumours gear up, the Samsung A3 and A5 show up which I discussed in a previous post.

-> A Chinese iPad clone now runs Android and Windows 8.1 on the same device where you can switch between the two!

-> Xiaomi Redmi 2 comes in new colors and comes light on your wallet! This one has really good specs to offer as well!

Thats all the news I found interesting... Do you have anything else? Put it down in the comments section! Keep reading cuz readers are winners!

2015 and How I wish Smart phones to be...

Differentiating Specs to Real Quality.

There of course has been a great change in the smart phone industry, but we must never forget there is always room for improvement. Even Low Budget phones now boost huge and awesome technical specs, but the question I have is do they really offer awesome quality for the hardware and bug-free environments? I am a great fan of 'nice solid builds' and awesome quality even for relatively small specs. If You ask me, I would say I actually don't care much about whether it has a 20MP or 16MP camera. As long as the quality is good 5MP is OK with me. I don't mean to say Mega Pixels don't matter but I wish to say the quality of the High end specs to be good as well. I have seen many people fall for pretty high end specs but fail to check on quality. When buying a phone, I would strongly ask all of you not to compromise on quality. That defines the nature and the time your phone is going to work for. I don't mean to SAY SPECS DON'T MATTER AT ALL. But I mean to say Specs don't make up everything. Another thing I like in some phones is the High end premium feel you get immediately when you hold it and use it. The smooth performance of animations and high frame rate games work perfectly along with good internet connectivity features.

All our specs has definitely reached a height but the performance is the question. You might have heard about the battery life of old button phones and the new phones. I agree the huge displays and processor eat up energy, but you still have to compromise a little bit on battery life. I would like that thing a lot more better in the coming years! When speaking about quality, the iPhones immediatly come to my head. Whether you don't like 'i' Stuff or not I am sure they do offer a lot of quality. The quality is extremely good there. Samsung... Ok does offer really good phones like the Note 4, the Alpha but when I am using a S3, I sometimes find the call quality a little bit low. I don't know why.

Another company which has great quality even in low end phones are the Nokia phones. I love their performance even in low budget phones. Not to forget Windows, It also offers extremely awesome UI for daily use!
Speaking of 2015, I wish to see a lot more good quality phones to be released. Real quality which will actually improve performance even over a lot of time. I don't criticize the existing quality but I want a bit more since there is always room for improvement.
Rising companies like Xiaomi, Oppo and all those can bring a lot more into their quality dept. to attract more and more consumers! They have a lot of potential!
So, hoping to see a lot more of the 'above kind' this year. Also Happy New Year!  Keep reading cuz readers are winners! Wait for another awesome post which is coming up shortly. Thumbs up if you liked this. Recommend or +1 or Share if you really enjoyed and If you have anything to say, please put it in the comments section!
