According to Gartner, growth in tab sales likely to be slow.

The growth will not be the same from the last four years, the company said. I find this new interesting because we have seen so many awesome tabs come up near the end of last year like the Nexus 9, iPad Air and the Nokia N1. Such news show that people might actually want another change in the tab market now. With phones nearly getting bigger, of course phones might take the upper hand there isn't any difference. The main reason why I think people buy tabs is for the big screen sizes they boast but the larger phone which mostly now have come into more that about 5" , will make tabs a thing to be thought upon for consumers! Another reason may be due the better quality of tabs in the higher end and I would say there aren't any charming ones in the lower range. People might question about what tabs offer more than phones and having a other device when you are travelling or something.
