The Asus Zenfone Zoom was announced at the Asus press conference at the CES 2015 in Las Vegas. As the name suggests, this phone has something big to offer in the zoom dept. We will have a good look on the phone first and check out the 'Zoom'.
According to Asus on it's web, 'ZenFone Zoom is engineered to embed 10-element lenses for 3X Optical Zoom while still keep the device as thin as 11.95mm. It's the world's thinnest 3X optical smartphone offering up to 12X zoom-in effect'.
That's exactly what the Zenfone 'Zoom' thing is about! Though it can Zoom upto 12x with 3x Optical Zoom, your phone won't get thicker which still makes it feel good in the hands!
Software
It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. This is going to be perfectly accompanied by it's Awesome hardware.

When I tell picture... I remember about the camera dept. The 13MP camera along with the 5MP secondary one come packed with really good image processors. With Dual color real tone flash, Optical image stabilization and an 88 degree viewing angle for the front camera, this phone has a really good camera department. With the 3000 mAh battery, it also sports the Intel Atom Z3580 chip set with a Quad core processor clocked at 2.3 Ghz.
